Adding your calendar to your website

Written by Support

Once you have Published, Public events, they're ready to be shown — you don't need to write or copy any code for this. Your Calendar (which shows both Events and Meetings) is added to any page on your website as an element in the Page Builder.

For the full walkthrough of adding the Calendar element and all its display options (list vs. calendar view, filtering by department, and more), see Element - Calendar.

A couple of Events-specific things worth knowing going in:

  • The Calendar element can be set to show Events, Meetings, or both — so decide which you want before configuring it. (Meetings are a separate feature — see Meetings, Agendas & Minutes if you're setting those up too.)

  • If your plan includes it, the Calendar can include a Subscribe option so residents can leave their email or phone number to stay notified. That's configured as part of the Calendar element itself, covered in the article above.
